Bear Creek Waterfall Our own private treasure. This fall is accessible on foot from all three cottages. Take a picnic lunch and a couple of folding chairs and have a splash in the pool at the base of the fall. This area is not large enough for swimming. The fall is approximately 14 feet high.

Hiking/Mountain biking trails There are numerous private trails to explore while you are vacationing with us here at Dark Corner. Trail maps are available in each cottage. Trails are provided for walkers and bicycle riders only, and are patrolled .

Our gravel roads and drives are well-maintained and accessible by car all year round. Four-wheel drive is not necessary.

Privacy and seclusion permit us to enjoy our Saluda mountain paradise. We enjoy the woods, the trees, and the critters, and we hope you do too!
